Built from real development work
Why I built aboutthe.app
I'm Roman Banar, a solution architect and full-stack developer. I built aboutthe.app to keep the working knowledge behind software close to the software itself.
Apps outlive their documentation
Repositories, documentation, deployments, CI/CD and support links drift across tools. When a service moves or a project changes hands, the map disappears.
One hub, two ways to use it
aboutthe.app keeps that map in one web dashboard. You can also share selected public or private information through a product page, API or optional in-app About box.
Built in real projects
I use it across my own web, mobile and desktop apps, including aboutthe.app itself. The live example below uses the same live developer map I actually maintain in the service.
