Keep every app you build connected to everything behind it.
Keep source code, documentation, the original AI project, deployments and support in one place — available on the web or directly from the running app.

Sound familiar?
“Does anyone know where I can find the analysis for the feature in this app?”
Documentation is in more than one place, it moves over time, and usually only the last person who touched it knows where it is.
“A customer reports a bug. Which version do they actually have in production? And is anybody else on the same one?”
When customers run different versions and the only way to check is logging into their environment or searching through CI/CD jobs, this simple question can eat up your afternoon.
“This is connected to a service Martin set up. And he doesn't work here anymore.”
One person leaves and the knowledge leaves with them — how it's deployed, how it's configured, who has access and why it was built this way.
Manage from one place. View it in the apps.
Manage all your apps from one place or view the hub directly inside your running app.
Central management
Keep everything you need to build and run your app, all in one place — service links, resources, docs, components, customers, versions.
- Organized by app, customer and deployment environment
- Public and private resources for every app
- Connect to your CI/CD through the API
Access it from the app
An automatic hosted page at aboutthe.app/your-alias, an About box you can embed in your app or direct API access.
- Framework-agnostic About box for your web application
- No analytics scripts or tracking cookies
- Update information once in the hub, the hosted page and embed use the same source
What should your app remember?
Choose how you work and explore the information worth storing with every application.
Keep links to AI prompts, inspiration, workspaces and repositories.
Build a hub in every app linking to repositories, documentation and everything else you need.
Unify your developer and product hub across internal services and client applications.
How it works
Add an app
Add its identity: name, author, license, logo.
Connect its code, docs and deployments
Add links to repositories, documentation, deployments, prompts and support contacts.
Use it on the web or inside the app
Drop in the web embed, share the aboutthe.app/your-alias link or connect the API. Public links are visible to everyone. Private links appear only when a valid unlock code is supplied, or to signed-in team members.

We take your privacy seriously
We respect your infrastructure and your users' privacy.
No tracking
Neither the public page nor the embed add any analytics scripts or tracking cookies.
Not designed to store secrets
aboutthe.app is not designed to store secrets. Keep passwords and API keys in your password manager and add only a link or reference here.
Private resources aren't public
Private resources are left out of public responses unless you're logged in or provide a valid unlock code.
Frequently asked questions
Is this an inventory of installed software?
aboutthe.app is built primarily for the people who develop apps. It connects each app to its source code, documentation, AI project, deployments and a range of other operational services. If you'd like to keep the same information for apps which you don't develop by yourself, you can add them manually.
Do I have to add anything to my app?
You don't have to, but you can. Embedding the About box in your app is entirely optional. Its advantage is that everything you manage centrally shows up directly inside your app, instantly and without writing any code.
How are private resources protected?
Private resources are excluded from public responses unless you provide a valid unlock code or access them as a logged-in user.
What happens if I switch hosting, my documentation tool or any other service my app relies on?
Just replace the old link with the new one in your app's central record. Everyone using your app automatically sees the updated information.
What is included in the Free plan?
